Ana Cristina Cancoro de Matos graduated as Mathematician at Universidade Mackenzie, in 1982. In 1987 obtained a magister degree in Space Sciences, Radio astronomy and Solar Physics at the National Institute of Space Research. In 2005 obtained a Ph degree at Universidade de Sao Paulo.

Cooperated with the technic-scientific project CESP / ANEEL / FUSP / LTG-EPUSP. She works on Digital Terrain Modeling and Calculation of Geoid Models (regional, national and continental). She actively participates in conferences and has published many scientific papers.
